Not only was Labour responsible for doubling ILR they introduced charging for it in 2003 (Blunkett)when the Tories came to power it was £840, can you please tell me what it is now dedworth ?
and dont forget the Tories have made those who came on a settlement wait 5 yrs before they can apply for ilr, meaning they now need to apply for FLR(M) at £650
