    VE Day

    Been watching a few programs yesterday and today.
    Yesterday i watched about the Wellington bomber being built in 24 hours, AMAZING and there people who built it too,
    Today, One Day in AUSCHWITZ, Will this world even learn? i dont think so

    A shame the service was spoilt by that spineless apologist Justin Welby trotting out his reconciliation lines that he co-wrote with the BBC

    I've seen the only surviving Weybridge built Wellington at the Brooklands museum - they brought it up from Loch Ness some years ago

    They were a fantastic generation of brave people...including my dad, who served in the RN for the whole of WW2, plus 24 years after that.

    Such a shame that following generations have thrown away much of what they were fighting for.

    Yes they showed some old archives of the plane being lifted from the lake

    Heartwarming story. So many good people's lives cut short. One reason I try not to waste away mine.
