Me too - that poor bloke running across the pitch on fire was haunting
I remember seeing it on the news, terrible. Doesn't seem 30 years ago at all!
I saw it live too. Truly horrific.
Now the vulture press are stirring things up again, when a senior police officer has already repeated the statement/confession given to him years later by the man who dropped the cigarette end which started the fire.
I think speculations started again with the release of the book of one of the survivors/victims.

It was on our local news again tonight.
The guy who admitted to having started the fire with his discarded cigarette butt was apparently one of two visiting Australians. He has since died.
