Poor woman.
The 'standard' of driving in the Phils is truly appalling, end of story, and pedestrian crossings totally meaningless.
Evidentally this person (tourist ?) hadn't realised that.
Really feel for this woman, I hope the punishment fits the crime for the driver also some kind of law should be enforced regarding these crossings otherwise they have no meaning at all!
im not sure, but if the driver hits a pedestrian on the crossing then a case can be filed against the driver, other than that the crossing has no meaning
You need eyes in the back of your head when crossing the busy roads over there especially at night when some motorists don't use their lights.
It's more fun in the Philippines.
