I've just read that a panel chose five goals from the past five decades for people to vote on meaning that Giggs' goal won from a paltry selection of five.
Just proves my point that the most decorated players are given the edge by the media. I've just remembered another wonderful goal scored by a player who wasn't a household name, and like Giggs' goal it was a solo effort but with a much better finish. If you still think Giggs scored the best MOTD goal, Les, I suggest you hand back your taxi badge because your eyesight is failing you.
