We stayed in the Sheridan beach resort in April for 5 days. It's away from the crowds and not much in the way of nightlife, which was handy because it meant we were up early every day to go on a tour. Managed to do the underground river, Island hopping, Bakers Hill and The crocodile farm. All three of us fell in love with the place and will definitely go back. My 21 year old daughter went with us this year and last year to Boracay and she much preferred Palawan.

Yeah, I too can reccomend Bakers Hill, The Crocodile Farm, and Island Hopping in Honda Bay, couldnt do the Underground River bcuz i didnt pre book, and there was a backlog at the time, a nice Bar and Grill to try is Kinabuchs reasonable price, good food, and plenty of it, and if you have time take a trip up to El Nido, and do the Island Hopping again, but allow yourself a few days because it takes half a day to travel up, and the same coming back to Puerto, as for a place to stay i can reccomend www.angelicmansion.com very friendly owner and staff, all in all Palawan is a place i intend to visit again.

Stayed in a beachfront resort in Corong Corong called Plankton Divers. Very peaceful but if I go again, I'd stay in the town as it's a fair way out and the restaurants aren't very good in CC.

Nice pics Stewart. Is Narra south of PP on the way to Brooke's Point? Seem to recall Estrella Falls being advertised as a tour in Puerto Princesa.

I found a lovely place to stay it Puerto Princesa City, at Wescom Road, just a few hundred yards from Angelique Mansion, its called Roma Pension, but its much more than a Pension house, the owner is an Italian by the name of Roberto, he is so friendly and will give you great advice on where to visit & what to pay, the accomodation is great for what you pay; 700 pesos per night for a lovely good sized clean room, including Breakfast brought to your room, they have all sized rooms from single to family rooms, Car hire, motorcycle hire, and nothing is to much trouble for the owner, i recomend anyone stay here they wont regret it, and for the price its amazing.
