Info on Dipolog City

I have been reading about the night market of Tagum, it would be nice to have some info of various cities in the Philipines, i plan to visit Mindanao in the near future, just a few loose ends to tie up here in the UK before i go, One of the cities i have been asked to visit is Dipolog in Davao Del Norte, I have to admit that i know very little about the place except that it is to the west of CDO and Illigan.

What are the facilities like with regards; Hospitals, Transport in and around the city, Infrastucture, House prices, is there a large Foreigner Community, Tourists, Things of Interest, Security etc etc. I would guess it is probably similar to Tagum City in that there will be an expansion of shopping Malls, so feel free to pass on any info folks.
