Exchanging your Euros

If you have lots of Euros left after your holiday do you get charged a fee for changing them back to pounds?
I have not tried it yet but many say yes they could charge you a fixed fee, like a fiver. Any ideas boys and girls?

Horses for courses.
Some forex companies charge a standard fee, but you might get a better exchange rate.
Whereas others don't charge a fee, but might give you a poorer FX rate.
You just need to do the maths.

Having a general look around tonight, for 100 Euros
Thomas Cook will give you £69.69
Debenhams £65.79
The Post Office £64.94
Marks & Sparks £63.73

... obviously, all subject to market conditions at the time of transaction.
But it gives you an idea of who's likely to give you the best rate.
