    Graham, Manila ATC has only 40% of staff that's required for the number of aircraft that enters and leaves on a daily basis compared to other international airports in the western world, that's why we mostly use Cebu the ATC staff figures are better!

    In fact Marlene Singson ATC worker at Manila deals with up to 54 aircraft an hour for 16 hours every day, if that's not breaking any rules I don't know what is!

    That's hellish. Fair play to her though. she must be doing a terrific job being under so much pressure.

    Good point Jamie, But no health and safety rules in Philippines!
