    My mum's favourite (she's 88 next month...and Irish).

    Always seemed a genuinely nice man. RIP, but a good innings.

    I used to watch his shows, his jumpers, his rocking chair, to be honest I thought he had passed ages ago. Again, said he died in a rest home, I wonder if he earned millions like they do these days
