well, they say the bones of the dried fish like eating dried anchovies gives you plenty of phosporus...if someone cook dried fish with vegetables it also good for the health... i like eating dried squid than the fresh one coz it taste better.. and why does it smell bad because you're not use with the smell but for me just the smell of it its like an appetizer.

As what i read, it's good for your heart and rich source of omega 3, and one thing more, it's a culture thing why we like to eat dried fish. When it comes to the smell, we got use to it already and as ponyang said, the smell is like an appetizer. Paul complained a bit for the smell but i think he's getting used to it

We went to a Chinese Supermarket yesterday and i couldn't find a certain dried fish that i like, we went to another one but still no stock, it was a bit frustrating

I used to eat bombay duck quite often when all the Indian restaurants and take-aways used to sell it. Mind you, I used to drink a lot in those days.

My brother just arrived from Cebu last night and he brought with him a box of dried squid, danggit, peanut cookies, dried mangoes and otap. I like otap they are crispy cookies with sugar toppings. Danggit and dried squid are also good but really smells bad . We have to cover the plate while it was served on the dining table.
Dried fish are ok but some say salty foods if taken often are not good for the health as it will cause gout.

oh my gosh!!! I really missed eating dried fish with soy sauce and calamansi. Eating tinapa with bagoong. Eating those without using spoon and spork. I love it
