Downloaded it this morning, seems to be draining my laptop battery around twice as fast as 8.1 did
All installed and sweet - like it!
I'm on Windows 7, the little offer icon has now disappeared from my computer but I didn't download it because I think you have to pay for it after a certain time also I'm afraid there may be some changes and things I won't understand
No Michael you don't pay for it.
Just takes a little bit of getting used to but it's good - and of course remember how many of us said we will never change from xp and we did and what an improvement!
Maybe too many people downloading it at once. Just google Microsoft's main site perhaps
This is where I got it from - seems live
Just check if you are 32 or 64 bit

Have registered a while back, just waiting for notification. What is 64bit?
go to start, right click on my computer, select properties and it should show you if you 32 or 64 bit
Hmm ... think I'll leave well alone!
I am thinking of installing win 10, but not sure what to do with songs on media player, I think they have dropped it from win10
Media player is still there
Oh thats great, thanks Les
It's the Media Centre you have to pay for. To burn DVD/CD just use Ashampoo Burner Free.
