Reckless ... IMO, that is way too old to be behind the wheel on a busy motorway!

Didnt know a nissan micra could go that fast.
Must have had a good tailwind.
Blimey....I was going to ask where the cliff was.
I can confirm that the larger engined models will easily exceed the ton though, as my dad had one.
1275 !
The driver can't be named for legal reasons.
He'd have got away with "words of advice" had he been romanian filth driving an HGV the wrong way down the motorway
....and likely without a licence or insurance.
The trouble is these days anyone can put there foot on the throttle and keep it there , its stopping the thing quick , thats when the problems start,
Have you noticed these days its always the small cars that are whizzing past you now on the motorways
True Steve.
Also, some very long downhill slopes on the M62.
I remember before limiters were brought in, I could get 90 showing on the speedo of my Bedford TK truck...in neutral.
Bloody hell Graham that was my truck too, a full load of carrots on the back, knock out of gear WOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW, then you just had to hear the right noise to flick it back in to keep up the speed,
That's the one.
junction 28/29 MI and the junction for Barnsley on the M1, those was the best hills and the M62 coming down toward Manchester, that went on for miles and miles

Haha...good old days. Morris Minors, Ford Cortinas, Minis, red post office vans, yellow GPO vans, green road services parcel vans, Thames Traders, ERFs, Albions, Leylands, Commers, Bedfords, no seatbelts, sliding drivers' doors, AA badges, 520 x 14 crossplies. Air horns, seat covers and slide on headrests. Stick-on ashtrays and heated rear windows . Floor-mounted high beam buttons. Vinyl roofs and 'running-in please pass' signs.
On my first car a VW Beetle i had a floor mounted window screen washer button
On Mark 3 Cortinas too !
First truck I ever travelled in was an old Bristol, it had hand operated wipers and a windscreen that opened when the weather was hot, no heaters in those days Maudslay vehicles were famous for being the coldest vehicle on the road I actually used to drive one and the speed limit was 20mph for commercial vehicles then, if you had a truck that did 40mph it was considered super fast
