I can advise her to join up Wowcher, Groupon, nCrowd, etc. coz they offer deals with haircuts, hair colour, etc. I usually avail some in Liverpool which sometimes would just cost me £20 for hair colour and cut. She might find something there for hair straightening or something else.
I used to have my hair regularly done when I was still in the Philippines, i.e. hair rebonding, hair colour, etc., but they cost too much here. So I just stick with hair colouring and cut every 6-8 months or so with deals I found online.
