    Time is flying by

Is it me or have others noticed how quickly time is going by,
The weeks are going by so quickly which is sometimes good, but when you stop to think about it ,each week i am a week older, its frightening thinking i will soon be 21, ok OK 21 x2 plus a barkers dozen plus 1 for luck, but i still feel nearly 21 sometimes,

Over the past few years there has been quite a large influx of expats into our area. Since we no longer have any kids living at home we have met quite a few of them recently at various Filipino/expat gatherings. Most of the men are in their 60’s and 70’s and retired. The majority of the ones I have gotten to know better have built or are in the process of building very large homes. From what I can gather they seem to have very good private pensions and money in the bank.
All of the above sounds great on paper, until you get to know them better and here their health problems or the fact they worked their butts all their life’s in jobs that they detested in the end.

I guess what I’m ‘trying to say Steve is, spend your time wisely and enjoy life experiences. Time cannot be replaced

    Totally agree Jake.

Thank god I don't have to line up bottles of pills each morning.

I'll swap that for a small house and wallet any day.
