    A new /second hand car

Would it put you off buying a used or new car from the VW group, and how would you know if your car has not been effected by what has happened to the other cars too,
If only a small amount of people new about the problems and the rest did not even know what to look for , do they know what they are looking for now, very worrying if i was in the market for a VW, but would it make the model cheaper too

Wouldn't make any difference to me as long as VW put it right, would love a VW but too expensive for my budget!

They are not stupid enough to make the same mistake twice with the whole world watching them!

A mechanic friend of mine tells me the new vw cars affected in this scandal will pass eu standards just not the American standards which are tougher

The factories that manufacturer these cars put out lots more pollution per car than the cars emit in their lifetime.

    That's what he said anyway.

Probably an MOT tester would be the best person to ask, as they will be kept updated on current requirements for individual models....and probably not trying to sell you a car.

Try pistonheads.com (forums) for all the latest car gossip etc. They have sections for individual makes and models too.

I am thinking of buying a new Audi A3 diesel in the not too distant future and this hasn't put me off at all.

I thought what VW was doing to fool the emissions test was quite clever
They are probably not alone in doing it..............

I have owned Audi diesels for years and i can thoroughly recommend them

2.0 TDI 170 bhp with the DSG/S Tronic gearbox is a dream to drive

All German cars are great and well engineered, although never had one myself just a little too pricey for me!
