Maritess sister is a fully qualified Midwife, how can she apply directly to NHS, is there an international website for applicants?

Each trust will have a way of advertising vacancies but there is a NHS jobs website.

Just type NHS jobs into Google. She can register and apply online. Bear in mind she will probably need to be in the UK first to apply due to the requirement of being interviewed unless a particular trust has gone to the Philippines to look for staff. Then the agencies involved should be the port of call.

Should be lifted for Carers as well.

The definition of valuable and critical job categories is all wrong in my opinion.

Also unless she has registered with the nursing and midwifery council in the UK and has a pin number she won't be able to practice.

Thank you for this good news, Philip .

Michael ... I’m sure Maritess and her sister will be aware that nurses and midwives need to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the UK professional regulatory body.

Here is their information for those trained outside the EU / EEA, including their fees :-

... and the link to their latest booklet about all stages of the process of registration :-
