    Visa stamped on wrong passport

    Good morning!

My mom and my son's visas were delivered on Saturday. Both have been approved which is great, but the stamps have been interchanged. My son's visa was stamped on my mom's passport, and vice versa.

We tried ringing the British Embassy, but it goes straight to a message recording saying to check the website. The only thing I can find on the website is how to transfer a visa from an old passport to a new one.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

As a first step I'd contact the VFS Application Centre.

If that's not an easy option then here are some others:-

    From Inside UK:-

UK Visas and Immigration contact centre
    Telephone: 0300 123 2241
    Textphone: 0800 389 8289
Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4.45pm
    Friday, 9am to 4.30pm

    Find out about call charges

    From Philippines Telephone

    Opening times: 8.00am - 4.00pm (Philippine time)

    You can call us on:

    00 44 1243 217 890

If you would prefer to dial a UK number direct please call:

    00 44 1243 218 104

This is a paid service and there is a cost of £1.37 UK Sterling per minute in addition to your standard network charges. Please have a valid credit or debit card ready to process your payment. We can accept MasterCard credit and debit cards, and Visa credit and debit cards. You will not be charged until you are connected to an adviser. Calls may be recorded for training purposes. We are able to handle your calls in English.

There is also an online e-Mail Form available

    https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/

Ideally, any visa errors should be corrected prior to UK entry if possible

Thank you, Terpe. We went back to VFS, and they sent the passports back to the Embassy. They just received the amended visas today.

    Thank you for your help.
