Time do you keep to it, do you plan your day round it or do you do what you want to do when you want to do it,
Many of us are still working and have to be at work at certain times of the day , meetings and so on , but what if you have no work no meeting then does time matter,
Most weekends Ems works but once she is there and then when i pick her up , that time in between is all mine , i can do what i want anytime, do nothing , do everything , but once the time comes around to pick Ems up , its back to Time
I have heard that once many who have retired there watch may retire too,

I plan most things two or three weeks ahead and stick to it also some things are planned a couple of years ahead, we have six clocks and four watches + cooker clock, boiler clock and two mobile phone clocks they all hit the hour on time with Big Ben on radio four

People still working could easily be forgiven for running away with the that those of us who are retired have "all the time in the world" at our disposal. But that is, in fact, far from the reality. Indeed ... for many of us s the exact opposite tends to ring true.

Why is this, I wonder?

Tbh ... ... I'd have to admit, I for one, certainly don't miss the stresses 'n' strains of going out to work - NOT a jot! ... forbye, that's straight from the lips of someone who was long~known for putting heart & soul into every job he tackled - ONCE!

I'm retired.
My wife is retired.
I never now wear a watch. I generally don't set any alarm clock.

We eat when we are hungry and sleep when we're sleepy.

Of course there are things we need to schedule like paying bills, household shopping etc visiting friends and so on but since retiring here we generally haven't been living a life to the beat of a clock.
Which is the main reason that we can't seem to do all the things we want.

Our resolution in 2016 therefore is to plan our time much better so we can enjoy all the benefits of enjoying ourselves whilst at the same time achieving some of our goals.
This I think will demand we follow a timed schedule and live our life more in time of the beat of a clock.
Life is far too short not to be lived to the full. This needs a structure and a timing.

Nowadays, I feel I've earned the *right (*call it what you will) to indulge myself in the pastime(s) I enjoy ... the sort of activity which I believe I've always been best-suited to engage in probably. And that is, express my thoughts through written - or more accurately - typed communication, such as the scope of being part of this excellent site of ours provides for its members, in tandem with virtually limitless opportunities for forging firm, lasting friendships.

Making the best of the time you have together is what we all strive for , but with work shift patterns for couples its really hard,
A kiss in the morning then see you later and thats sometimes is 12 hours later, 4 hours catching up and eating dinner, then its bed ,
And it starts all over again ,
