How to get my mum over here

how can i get my mum over from philippines to over here or...even just for tourist or visit visa...i had no dad anymore(shes a widow)..pass away a year ago ;( ans shes lonely...she terribly mising us and the kids..and i want her to see us all her... if possible..what are the things i need.... for her to come here...in the UK

We got my Mrs Mum over no worries..6 months visa.. I was quite suprised how easy it was.. Things may have changed though since then...No idea.

At work at the moment, so can't type much. But currently have the mother in law here on a six month tourist visa.... When I get a chance when I get home I will explain more what we did to secure the visa
