NO, Jake ... my first marriage took place in the Church of Scotland very nearly fifty years' ago. Whereas my second happened to be a civil ceremony, the MAIN reason being, I'd heard that the Catholic Church in the Phils was inclined to be somewhat dilatory in sending certificates to local Registry Offices, thereby, of course, delaying the Spousal Visa process.

Clearly, then, I don't see anything wrong with Civil partnerships when - as nature intended (see #2) - they're between participants of the opposite gender.

I reserve my right to express my own opinion without meddling and mischievous attention-seeking pain-in-the-backside minorities pressurising me to suck up to them.

If they want to do it, just DO IT for goodness sake...and shut up !

You said if they don't like poofs they have a right not to serve them.
Presumably you would be fine with someone who doesn't like Asians refusing to serve your wife.

I am British, Irish, have a Filipino wife and we live in Spain. I would not like it but how can I expect to have rights if I would deny other individuals their rights ?

You missed out the fact that I put a at the end of that quote, and also my post #25, in either case no sign of hatred.
If you can find me a religious belief that doesn't like Asians as you put it, then I'll find a shop owner of that religion and see what happens.
    As you were

It's a different world we live in, each generation has different views on what they think is right,
Live and let live I say but once this " I think I can have a claim here" and the human rights lawyers and every tom dick and Harry plus Annette jumps on the Eagan it spoils it for others.
Just my thoughts from a dad who has a gay son
