    Bloody nightmare dealing with these people but the kids and the Mrs are all glad and they feel "British" again!!

    Simon...The day after your message,(which I thank you for)Liverpool phoned us on the Mobile and told us they needed the "Statutory declaration" for each applicant.. I was more than a bit surprised that they would take the time to call,but they did..
    We got these documents from a local lawyer and sent them DHL..
    Absolutely no reply to emails etc and I was about to load the phone again to call them...Then I got the message that 3 passports had arrived via DHL!!
    Anyway thanks again and hopefully this thread can help someone somewhere with the same or a similar renewal issue..

    I spoke to someone at Belfast recently, hoping to clarify EXACTLY what docs (and whether original or copy) I need to supply in connection with the application for my son's first passport.

    The person was as useless as the Passport Office's halfarsed website.

    Who do they use to design these confusing govt. websites... damned Chimpanzees ?
