Bit of Info regarding the LIFE IN THE UK

My test is not for 2 years but I want to study now when i have the time.
i went to this site

To buy the book, because i searched and this site came up.

My husband he see what i am doing and said .."Hey thats NOT the official site, this is "

On this site it says you must ONLY read this book.....Nothing else will do

Look at the different front cover...The book I should be reading from is all BLUE.

Just look before you buy, because as my husband has found out, the other books available from web sites are NOT going to have all the study questions in them.

There is the offical book 2nd edition which the wife bought but she also had some other books and other questions and what have you i found on the web at the time.

Like the Driving test there is the official manual but others write books which either complement it or have a different slant.

Do bear in mind the book has already changed once hence the 2nd edition.

But for someone coming from a different culture it is very useful ok some of it is boring and some of the info leaves you thnking why do i need to know this. But the wife learned things which give her a better understanding of some basic facts most of us brits take for granted.

I would recomend taking the book over for those who are still to enter the UK.

yes, only buy the offical second edition of the book, you can buy a pdf version of the book with just the chapters you need, as you don't need to read the whole book (off ebay - many on here, my wife used the first ed off these people http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LIFE-IN-THE-UK...QQcmdZViewItem )

since may/june of this year you couldn't use the first edition of the book, as they expanded the test to cover more chapters that were only in the second edition.

there are many good web sites out there with sample questions and info on

good luck but do it sooner than later, becuase i'm sure they will push the price up for the test.

or make it longer, harder need more books insist on a college course or some other way they can charge more money
