I hope you're fit and look good in short pants.
I hope you're fit and look good in short pants.
Had our 3rd viewing today and they have said they wish to purchase the flat.
Just have to wait until Tuesday now for everyone to get back to work. Hopefully they wont change their minds in the next few days.
Any updates
Having my place valued this afternoon
Good luck, hope it's worth what you expect.
I've had around a dozen or so people view. Being a housing association shared ownership property it's a long winded process. Basically a few have declared an interest, so the housing have sent them paperwork to fill out to see if they meet the eligibility requirements.
I have been told as soon as housing are able to accept an offer I will be told!
The housing market in the general area of heathrow is very bouyant in general mate, your property is not going to be around for long,i constantly get leaflets through the door from estate agents asking am i selling
Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
To be honest, I was shocked when they told me the value (£100K more than I thought). My thoughts are all over the place now, last month was quiet at work so I was of the opinion to up sticks and leave. However this month has started off great even though we're only 4 working days into the month, so have been chatting with our phone people about linking our VOIP system into the house in Angeles.
I'm sure you won't be daft enough to burn all your boats/bridges here though.
Its a very scary thing , well for me it is,
I am not rich but again i am not poor,
Its the thought of having a good income coming in each month to having 1/6 of that amount,
Yes i know we will not have the bills and to tell the truth we save 5/6 of what comes in each month,
We are on budget and time too to make our move,
Like i said its scary but keep saving and keep reading up on things and before you know it i will be there
Mate, by comparison, I have sod all. Life is for living though, not worrying about.
Had some good news at last.
Someone viewed a couple of weeks ago and has filled out the paperwork required by the housing association. This paperwork has passed the first check and been forwarded to the compliance department. If all is fine and nothing further required then this time next week the purchaser will have a week to sign paperwork and instruct a solicitor.... then I guess I better find something...
Can't do nothing this week though... enjoying a week at Butlins
Yes, it can be a scary decision to "leave the nest" you know and move into the unknown.
Whether or not I made a good decision can only be counted day-to-day by my experiences, the people I meet and by my smile.
It could all change in the blink of eye. That's the risk.
Same risk wherever I go
Just my own view
In Leicestershire this weekend, been house viewing and have made an offer on a property.
Unfortunately the estate agent shut at 4pm and we phoned at 3.30... so they said if we don't get in touch with you by 4pm, we will phone you Monday to let you know if it's been accepted.
So now we have to wait as we didn't hear today!!!
Good luck.
Some lovely countryside and villages in that part of the world.
I think we covered most of it when we were viewing houses over the weekend! was nice to be able to drive 20 miles in 20 minutes as opposed to London traffic and it taking 90 minutes.
We settled for an old mining town called Coalville. I'll be honest and say it wasn't my first choice out of all the areas we looked at before we went. But after viewing the houses in all the other areas, yes the areas were great but the houses inside were tiny (for the money we have) The one in Coalville as soon as we both walked in to view it we both stood open mouthed at how nice it was. Every room was perfect in our eyes. Even the kitchen was refitted in January this year to the highest standards.
Thankfully we have had our offer accepted and now everything is in the hands of the solicitors and banks.
Congratulations Slip, well done. We are moving into our new house approx. first week in August, the builders have just finished the roof.
Onwards and upwards !
Your virtually our neighbours, good luck in the move
Great location, we're 20 minutes away just South of Leicester. You can commute to many places easily from Coalville.
Leicester is your best place
After a lot of stress and phonecalls the past couple weeks, officially received a mortgage offer today. So now things are going to be (excuse the pun) moving.
