Each to their own, but I prefer noisy piston-power... and a bit of individualism... bearing in mind that it was the innovation of individuals like Colin Chapman, founder of Lotus Cars, that greatly contributed towards current open-wheel race car design... not a computer programme.

Do you remember BRM of Bourne Lincolnshire Graham? If I remember rightly I'm sure that they built the type of car you would have liked, a V16 sports car, can't remember what model it was though

The sound of that little (1500 cc ?) V16 is legendary.

Look for it on youtube. Pretty sure it has appeared at the Goodwood Festival of Speed a few times too.
