Well today if you look up in the sky and you can see the sun , Mercury will past across the face today,
They say the best time is from midday, but be careful DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN ,
I will try to get some pictures if possible , i doubt it though even with the best filters its going to be hard, but you have to try,
I have a 13ew welding lens or two, I am going to look.

Well after trying to get the best pictures i failed , i forgot to take my tripod so it was all hand held or stuck and a jumper on to of the car to try to get some pictures but the sun was just to bright,
How did you go on Steve with your welding lens
I tried to see it, but even looking through my lens with the camera at full magnification I couldn't see it either.
Mercury is so small and the sun so bright, I think it was always going to be difficult to see.

It would have been better at sunrise if Mercury was passing it at that time , plus if i was a wake too
