It's only ab idea put out to see what the response is. Only around 1% of folk overstay on a visitor visa.....still, that equals thousands.
I see no problem with the 3 months, nor a deposit. If they can fly in from Asia for £500 each, then they can afford a deposit. They pay smugglers £2000.
