New Driver's License Validity Increased To 5 Years

Newly~installed President, Rodrigo Duterte has ordered that the validity of drivers' licences issued by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) be increased from three to five years.

This move - in accordance with the president's desire to cut red tape and give relief to motorists - will become operational w.ef October.
