    Graham's Goosegobs.

Hmm... actually doing a bit of gardening this morning (not like me. lol), and came across this prickly plant trying to stab me to death, so started to cut it back, thinking it was a pesky Hawthorn intruder.

Then I noticed the Gooseberries ! I must wear my blinkin glasses in future !

We call them GoosegoGs Graham, really nice when made into a Crumble, a good substitute for Rhubarb in a crumble.

Aaah.... maybe that's what we used to call them too, but it WAS about 50 odd years ago. lol

Yes, two of my fave dishes... those crumbles. Not that I've any chance of producing such gourmet (by my standards) food.

I'm not a jam person Steve, I prefer a good pasty or sausage roll.

Go on Graham, bust out the chef's hat and make a crumble, you know it's worth it.
