I agree, trains need at least two properly qualified staff.
If the driver is injured in an accident ?
Don't care if a lot of trains are already running driver-only.

Would we be happy to have one pilot on a plane... and nobody to show us how to get out of it if he turns it upside down on landing ?
and going to driver only trains has no effect on safety at all
If it was about all safety they should be thinking about putting more staff on trains and not removing them
