What to do with half a can of stale beer?

Sweet & spicy beer can chicken!

“I first roasted chicken like this when I visited the US – the steam from the beer creates the most amazingly juicy results. ”

Jokes aside Steve, the yanks here use this method a lot.. The chicken is bloody good!
They of course are lightweights and perhaps thats why they have so many half filled cans the next day.

    I wouldn't bother...
You will only drink it all..
You have to be a person like me Steve... I sipp 50% from a can and say,"thats enough for me..The rest is to cook the chook"!!
    Takes great discipline Steve.

I have 3 of these custom built BBQ beer can cookers.
All have a container (in place of a beer can) that can hold the liquid of your choice. It can be anything, beer, soda water, carbonated drinks like 7UP, sprite etc. Plus add your fave herbs.

Yes, I can confirm it's an excellent method of cooking a whole chicken. Just wonderful.
I've done it so many times and everyone always asks how did I cook.

The kit includes a stainless steel base unit, frame to fit a beer can or utilise the included container.

    Brilliant.
    Great stuff Fred.

Thanks Peter..I think you just gave me a great idea.. I reckon a chook sitting on a beer can will fit nicely in my BBQ with hood on..
So the recipe should read ...BBQ, smoked, sweet and spicy chook.
    Hmmmm!!
I think that members should try it and post pics of their efforts.. I certainly will.

The problem is a beer that is around me, never has the chance to get "stale". Hahaha
