Yes I saw this in the paper. The only troubles is that the child's nationality becomes that of the country where the airline is from, that could be difficult to explain.

Having a baby on a plane shouldn't actually happen as there are industry and airline rules stopping pregnant women flying after a certain time of pregnancy. Unless you have a written letter from your doctor saying you are able to fly. I see rules have been flaunted in this case.
