Poldark And 'Victoria' Attract Equal Ratings

After 2/3 lo~ng, bor~ing weeks of little else but Olympics' coverage ... non~sports fans like me, are being "spoilt for choice" on Sunday nights.

Alas, ... turns out to be rather a difficult choice for myself, however! Because BOTH series are being screened simultaneously.

So ... ... in common with Victoria, I'm "not amused". ... and, much as I'd love to've watched the gorgeous Jenna Coleman as the young queen, I know enough about the Victorian era to realise this new series deviates significantly from what is generally considered historical fact. Therefore, I have opted for Poldark.

I couldn't get into Victoria but would have done exactly the same as you Arthur and opted for Poldark! A great series with stunning scenery and the birthplace of my ancestors

Forgetting facts (as we are so used to politicians doing anyhow) Victoria is an excellent programme
Jenna Coleman, is very watchable.
I thought everyone had a PRV (Personal Video Recorder) these days I have 3 linked to my TV to get around the 8 to 10 pm slot when the channels compete most.
