How to find old private pensions

How do you find old private pensions.
My brother used to work for this company " ICI paint factory" that has closed many many years again here in Derby.
He was there many years and he says he was in a pension too.
So how does he find out about this, any help would be welcome

DWP will have all details of all old Pensions, they just require your NI No.
