What's it like to be rich?

Have you seen the tv advert about what would you do if you was rich, or something like that.
Anyway i asked Emma does she think she we are rich, "NO" was her answer.
Why i asked , well if we was rich i could have anything, well what would you like i asked.
We dont have a mortgage , we dont have any debt, we have nice holidays , we have food on the table , a car, we have savings , so i said we are rich.
This got me thinking what is rich, millions in the bank, houses everywhere , 1st class travel , the world is your oyster sort of thing.
So far i am happy and in love and i think i have most things , so i reckon i am rich

I am poorer financially than at any point in my life, but I'm also pretty happy, and am blessed with a wonderful family.

I really don't care what others have these days. I have what I need... and more.

In my 20s and 30s I was on well above average earnings (paid the 5% deposit on my first house with 2 weeks pay), and had the lifestyle to go with it.

It did involve being very tied up with work though, being part of a particular social circle, and often being very stressed, to the point of having sleepless nights sometimes, and stress-related conditions. I 've just moved on... doing different but equally rewarding things.
