Government have said they'll appeal the decision, wonder what will happen if they take it to the European Court of Justice![]()
Might be old stuff but still makes me smile![]()
Imagine if there is a vote in parliament. All those Labour MPs in constituencies with a LEAVE majority (lots of them). If they vote against their constituents and LEAVE loses, May calls an election (that now needs a majority vote too I know), then what happens to those Labour MPs? UKIP must be rubbing their hands with glee as I can't see die-hard Labour voters voting Conservative. Then round 2 with a few UKIP MPs to change the balance.
Also remember that comrade Corbyn is not a REMAINer too. It may get very interesting...
In reality I expect article 50 to happen, its just a case of when. Stupid woman lawyer who led this case... (Oh, and it seems the judges may not be impartial too ...).
Interesting and calm take on matters: http://www.conservativehome.com/thet...source=twitter
This is not directly related, but is interesting too: http://order-order.com/2016/11/03/re...-grief-yougov/
Thank you, Peter ... I'm certainly interested. Problem for me lies in trying to make sense of such a leng~thy screed of complicated legal jargon. It would seem I'm about as "much use"
at that as I am at "getting to grips" with the intricacies of computer language - which is ...... NOT a lot!

I know what the result was so lets just do it, stop pussyfooting around, and trigger article 50 then we can start negotiating, the pound is rising because speculators think it wont happen, well if it doesnt happen i dread to think what the consequences will be against immigrants, the Brexiteers will definately be feeling frustrated, and some will take it out on easy targets.
Well if it does not happen we will be the laughing stock of the world and i would be ashamed to be English.
Nigel is not impressed![]()
The only good thing with this judgement is its helped to push the pound up a little, but really its done the Country no favours with regards our negotiating position. This ruling means before we trigger the article 50 thingy we have to tell Parliament this is what we want which will then tell the EU what we want, so we wont therefore have a very good negotiating position in fact it will be very weak, i mean who discusses business deals out in the open ?.![]()
... WHY the hell should the final decision rest with MPs??? Do those old crones (average age, 70)

who will pass judgement, believe the people don't know their own minds?????
being the case ...
... what was the point of going to the expense of holding a referendum in the first place?
We have gone to far down the road to turn back now and we live in a democracy. The public have spoken. 16 million might not want Brexit or did not want it back then but we have spoken and it has to go through.
Me, personally i voted to stay in and i was gutted we voted out but out we have to go. The longer we leave it the more damage i can see being done. Triggering article will not change everything over night.
Lets just get on with it.
