    Ninoy Aquino International Airport

    Im back over in Phills at the end of the month, and i need some advice, the last time i was there i got severely ripped off by the Taxi from the airport, 3000+ pesos for a 15 minute Taxi ride, can you guys give me some advice as i am having an overnight stay near to the NAIA. I dont really want to be paying 3+k again .

    There are hotels nearby that offer free pick up from NAIA like Shogun Hotel or Kabayan Hotel for 600 pesos or DG Salem Domestic Guesthouse

    Just insist on a metered cab, if the queue is too long nip up to departures and grab one from there

    check this out Harry this may help you as you are staying overnite right..there are sleeping lounge now inside the airport so it would really be handy. as for the transport, i know there are shuttle buses now from the airport but i will have to look again and post it here. hope this helps

    Hi Graham, Terminal 1 mate for my arrival, and Terminal 3 for when i leave..

    Terminal 1:

    As soon as you've gone through customs, you'll be in a big 'hallway'... which contains the moneychangers etc.

    Walk 50 yards to your right. There's a lift. Go up to the floor above (Arrivals). Step outside on to the pavement.... walk to your right.
    Stand on the kerb edge and flag in a white taxi that has just dropped off a passenger. Ask if they are using the meter. If they try to negotiate price, say no... meter only. If they won't agree to that...next please.
    Rare I fail on the first one.

    Ignore all touts !

    You shouldn't really need to pay more than 2--300 pesos to anywhere within 3 miles of the airport terminals.

    Thanks Graham i will print this Off, my hotel is Andrews Avenue close to Terminal 3 for my departure the next morning..
