Rick Parfitt died today aged 68, whilst in hospital in Spain with a shoulder injury he picked up an infection and sadly passed away, RIP Rick.

Status Quo were the first band I ever saw play live, back in 1967, when I was a 16 year-old schoolboy in York, just after I'd also bought their first chart single... 'Pictures of Matchstick Men'.
Later they changed their style, but were still beloved by us young 'headbangers' and 'air-guitarists'.
