    Breaking bad.

    Breaking Bad.

I dont usually watch any U.S TV drama/series but this was recommended to me so I gave it a whirl...
It`s basically about a middle aged Chemistry teacher with part time job at a car wash..He has just been told as a non smoker,he has terminal Lung cancer..He has a son with cerebal palsey
He decides to try and put his Chemistry skills to better use...Things start getting interesting...lol.

    Bloody brilliant...Now I`m hooked!!
    Anyone else seen it?
    Thoroughly recommend.

I only watched the entire series 3 times, absolutely fantastic, its like a fine wine (i would imagine,as i dont drink) that gets better and better and better, who wouldnt like to do a Mr White and put two fingers up at the man ngreat series, thoroughly reccommended.....11/10

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

I watch more US TV then is good for me. I would say over a week I watch between 15-20 us shows, but I very rarely watch UK TV.
However I've never actually seen breaking bad, not even one second of it. For some reason it passed me by.
Normally when a new show comes out I will watch it, any good I'll stick with it obviously. If not, soon forgotten.

Don't think I'd get the time now to watch it....

... 'fraid I'm the opposite - much prefer home~grown television - as American programmes tend to be rather too noisy and, frankly, a bit OTT for my liking!

Mind you, if "bad's being broken", then ... ... it would seem to follow, that the series under discussion must be 'good'!

Some people sit down and watch the whole series back to back in a few weeks. I must admit that i sometime sit down and do this. I watched Breaking Bad a few years ago over 4 weeks, great TV viewing. We watch a fair bit of TV in our house. Breaking Bad, Blacklist, Game of Thrones, Blindspot, Scandal, Z Nation, Walking Dead, Elementary, Homeland and Ray Donovan. These are all series that we are both up to date with.
There is a few that have been let downs like The young Pope and Fortitude that did not get past the first few episodes before i stopped watching them.
Maybe i need to work more hours in a week and stop being a couch potato.

I'm with fred and Arthur - I generally loathe American TV series and tend to avoid the Hollywood blockbusters too (all stories get rewritten to take place in America and the Yank has to win, yawwwwwn!!) so I've resisted this one too. Having said that I looked up the synopsis and it sounded interesting so I have it downloaded. I doubt very much whether we'll have time to watch it in the remaining two months that I'm here.

I am great lover of Scandi-Noir (or Nordic Noir) and try to catch those when they're aired on BBC Four on Saturday nights. Also a lover of the Walter Presents series on Channel 4/All4, some superb series on that.
