    Clark Airport

Couple of things that maybe of use for anyone travelling through Clark airport.

Upon arrival and once outside you'll find taxis available as well as jeepneys, but these taxis are a total rip off. If you don't negotiate a price you'll get stung for about 900p for a 15 minute trip into Angeles, and even if you do you won't get the fixed price down below 400p.
What you won't see (as in they don't want you to see), is that if you walk to your left toward the departure building you find a few yellow metered cabs. Must be some back handlers going on somewhere because it's almost as if the metered cabs are hidden out of your natural line of sight and who would come out of an arrivals hall and then head back in the direction of departures

When leaving Clark there is a 600p airport tax for international travel, which unlike NAIA is not incorporated into your ticket price, so keep some pesos at the end of your trip for this

    hi simon.
is there an airport tax for children below 15y/o so i can prepare the right amount. This is the airport nearest to our house so this will be convenient for us. Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Jane, sorry but I didn't see any limitations on age. Better to be safe than sorry, so just allow an additional 600p, you can always spend it on your next visit if they don't charge

Good useful advice Simon, a rep on it's way in due course as I need to toss a few around first

    Good info Simon... cheers.

I'll be leaving through Clark in April, and hadn't realised there was a departure tax there.

Yep... jeepney for me (p55 ?).

Oddly enough, I'm arriving NAIA and departing Clark. (Emirates).

Just a quick update on this....

The airport fee of p600 is charged to all passengers, irrelevant of age. This is for international travel, if you're on a domestic flight then the fee is p150.
