Gorden Kaye has died, aged 75.

Famously played the part of French Resistance Cafe owner, Rene in the long~running BBC comedy series, 'Allo, Allo' during the 1980s.

But he took on other non-comic roles, besides ... most notably, as Elsie Tanner's nephew in ITV's Coronation Street around a decade or so earlier.
