    Food cravings

Missing some nice spicy food at the moment, so I've done something about it. Found a chinese supermarket today and bought loads of spices, so chicken jalfrezi for me tonight.
Just off to buy a kaffir lime tree, and will be having Thai fish cakes tomorrow

    Something I always pack:

Bottles of different spices (Cajun, Paprika, Thai 7 spice, etc), curry powders and gravy granules.

Makes cheap cooking and eating at home bearable.

Of course my Mrs says it's all too hot for her... so my talents are wasted in that direction.

It's on McArthur highway next to Fortune Chinese restaurant. It's actually called Johnnys as it's on the corner of Johnny St.

Fortunately the Mrs is from Bicol so she is used to and enjoys spicy food....

Took a trip on the LRT to Robinsons Place Ermita today, just for fun really.

Anyway I finally managed to buy a bottle of English malt vinegar from Marks & Sparks there.

Perfect for my next sampling of Cod and chips

I'll be getting back to Rustans next week so hopefully they'll still have packs of Icelandic Cod fillets.
Not so expensive either, around P180 per kg. and very very tasty.

Hopefully my malt vinegar will bring the level up a bit hahaha
