Lovely little cars.
Not as good as a proper classic British Mini, but good.
Make them again, but with a suitable tiny modern engine and gearbox.
Probably not possible, because of current safety regs.
I had a boss in the 70s who had one of those. The funny thing was that he was a huge hulk of a guy and the sight of him hunched and huddled behind the wheel keeping his head down so it didn't hit the roof was one I'll not forget in a while.
Does anyone remember the flatter fronted version? No bonnet as such, managed to find it 1960 Fiat 600
The tiniest 'people-carrier' ever ?
What about the 'Abarth' version of the 600... with permanently propped-open engine cover ?
I also remember a drag-racing 600, with a V8 in the back.
Another good find Fred
