Yep one of our drivers decided to try to do a u turn on the road as he said but ended up in a field,how the hell do you try to turn a van around and end up over a bridge then stuck in the field, and what the hell does he think i can do about it.
Anyway this happened in rural Lincolnshire, so i said go and try some farms to get a tractor to pull you out, Bing maps are great they give you all the farms in the area so i could advice him where to go,
30 ins later no joy at all, 1 hour later still no joy, so its getting in touch with the local breakdown company and after giving the credit card over the phone , they was sending someone out, £140.43p for the rear tow.
Experience drivers we employ but sometimes it does make me wonder, well he has lost his bonus for the next three weeks , someone has to pay that bill.
