Vegas and the canyons

Any tips on where to go and what to see and what to miss too.
We are thinking of a few weeks around this area but we are open to suggestions,
I know Rayna and Kieth has just done a trip like this so if you have a few spare minutes to give any advice it will be appreciated.
No plans are set yet but August looks like the best time for us, will it be too hot i wonder.

Been to Vegas a few times and always had memorable adventures. That's another story for another time.

I've done a Grand Canyon tour twice. First time was a day tour and I was so blown away that on my next trip I did a 3 day tour with 7 other people. Fantastic.

I'd do it again if I could.

I would spend time in San Francisco or Los Angeles then move on to Las Vegas.

Steve, if you can find a really good Grand Canyon tour at a reasonable cost it's one of those 'bucket list' destinations IMO

Las Vegas
Helicopter ride
Niagara falls
Grand canyon
So i am thinking if i can get a few done in one big bash , ok i may not get some in , but in 3 weeks maybe , maybe not.

I must add Emma has no idea about these plans , i am just trying to get things sorted before i say do you fancy going, because if i say do you fancy, that means i have to go.
