Just thought I'd mention I'm still painting the house......

Still rewiring, still adding new sockets and upgrading old ones.

Still repairing the great work of our builders (2 different teams)

To be honest, even though I enjoy the work, I'm getting fed up with it now.
It's taking me longer and longer. I often take 'days off'

Now I struggling with the bloody cornice moulding and just how to mate the corners

When Emma was shouting ,sorry talking to the family this morning i was looking at the house, the inside still looks great , nice and clean and i am so pleased. cant wait to see it and start our new venture.
But maybe after a month or so a holiday will be wanting.
Have to arranged a house warming when its done

Looked at the title and thought, ... 'rather you than me'!

Scrolling down to the comparable pictures of the property, however, I decided that - much as I am fond of a splash of colour - I'm inclined to prefer the building as it was in its former state.

But there again, ... suppose it all depends on one's taste.
