Called "THEM" last night to say that the rebate check for £32 odd that they sent me cant be cashed over here. So I asked what can be done about it? Nothing is the answer as we cannot make payments in to foreign bank accounts and they do not adjust tax code to compensate, so I am screwed for thirty odd quid.

I guess it must be from the 2015-2016 tax year?
If it's current tax they should recode and your payer will refund.
