Unfortunately no as we also have to buy a house here in Blighty as a base for us and somewhere for the kids to use if needed, but what a stunning property....

We are also looking at having a gite or two on the property which would help with our pension, we have friends who live in Brittany and their 1 x bedroom gite has a 75% occupancy which helps them considerably with living expenses....

In my old life this is something we had talked about but it was in Brittany, my daughter has a large place out there so we started to look , but then the ex started looking at men more.And like anything i was the last to know.
It is something that i still think about having the nice place over there and living of the land, also being able to rent a room or too, but not being dependent on that income.
