Yesterday, I was out of town for most of the day. Hence, for once, I wrote NO posts at all ... ... even though it'd been my intention to on my return during mid-evening. But there was a good *reason for this:

And *that is because, I'd become so bound up in the sheer poignancy of Tawi's extremely well~written thread - one of the most moving I've read for a while - a real tearjerker , ... that led to my going off to bed a lot earlier than I normally do!

Oh ... , Steve. Thing is, Myrna & I'd been walking about Perth's neighbouring city (Dundee) all afternoon. After which, we'd treated ourselves to one of these Jimmy Chung's "Eat All You Can Chinese Buffets", thereby [admittedly] resulting in our BOTH feeling, (shall we say?) "a little" more drowsy than usual ... then, of course, me getting somewhat emotionally engrossed in that poor, loyal servant woman's sad predicament.
