Graham, I don't know if you remember but Phil settled in Guimaras for a while, dont know if he is still there? I heard a few weeks ago an old friend of mine, Swiss guy, had died from cancer on Siquijor. Don't hang around making plans carpe diem.
Phil and family are still resident there... though I haven't corresponded with him for a very long time now.
